Winter Menu and Maine Magazine!

Sarahndipity has a shout out in this month's Maine Magazine Wedding edition!  I made this cake for my good friends Matt and Amilie Blackman in September.  It was a lot of work and a lot of fun!  I am able to do a few Wedding cakes this summer with advance notice.  I don't do elaborate cakes, more rustic cakes using local flowers and foliage!  Link to Maine Mag pic

Winter Menu
(a Limited Menu as I am currently trying to learn how to be a new mom!)

Best Chocolate Cake (moist dark chocolate cake with Chocolate Ganache, Chocolate Butter-cream, or Caramel Frosting) $16 for one Layer, $32 for two
Pear Upside down cake with Chai Spices (Caramelized Pears in Brown Sugar with hints of cardamom, cinn, cloves, and nutmeg!) $15 for one layer
Molasses Cake (moist gingery molasses cake with homemade whipped cream with a hint of lemon)
$15 for one layer
Carrot Cake (moist carrot cake with pineapple, coconut, carrots, and spices with cream cheese frosting) $18 for one layer, $35 for two

Coffee Cream Pie (with local 44N Coffee and homemade whipped cream) $18
Raspberry Chocolate Pie (fresh raspberries with a hint of almond in a chocolate cookie crust) $18
Honey Pie (local honey in a custard pie.. comforting and could be eaten for breakfast!) $17
Chocolate Pecan Pie or Pecan Bourbon Pie (pecans meet chocolate or bourbon, you cant go wrong) $18
Coconut Cream Pie (creamy coconut with homemade whipped cream in a flakey pie crust) $18

Quiche and Turnovers:
Bacon, Sauteed Leek, and Blue Cheese $20
Spinach and Goat Cheese $18
Mushroom Gouda $18

Nutella-Pecan Turnovers 12$ for half dozen, $20 for 12
Ham and Swiss turnovers $13 for half dozen, $21 for 12
Raspberry Turnovers $12 for half dozen, $20 for 12

Special orders available with advance notice, 48 hours notice if possible
